# Rug-pull Prevention

As stated in the Tokenomics section, Kromatika DAO has burned the proof of liquidity for better security and to prevent rug pull hacks. The majority of $KROM token is in the community's hands forever.                                                                                            

At the end of Q1 2022, 12 million $KROM tokens of Kromatika DAO wallet holdings were locked (12% of the total supply) while 7 million $KROM tokens remained in the multisignature Kromatika DAO Gnosis Safe wallet. The tokens have been locked on Unicrypt with an average vesting of 2 years and 3 months.
